dojima looks up from his guide and there he is, looking as disheveled as ever - but a little thinner and wearier than he remembers. just how stressful is life on a spaceship, anyway? it seems like something adachi would be rather fond of rather than burdened by. ]

[Adachi's taken aback a little, and looks down at himself. From where he's standing, he looks depressingly the same as always... crooked tie and wrinkled suit and all.

But he's forgetting that this Dojima isn't used to the man who hollowed himself out, has never seen him short of breath and too small in an ambulance and stretcher.]

and then it hits him. it had only been a day or two since he'd seen adachi...but it's been almost a year since adachi's seen dojima. that's a good chunk of time, seeing as they had known each other for about that long beforehand. ]

Ahaha, well, I just happened to see them in the store a few months back and... er... m-maybe they're a little stale, actually...

[Hope you enjoy those cigarettes Dojima, they've been in Adachi's pocket a damn long time. Not quite as touching anymore, maybe.]
