Hawkeye was starting to feel anxious, cabin fever from the last month working its way into her limbs. With the knock on the door, she was all too happy to spring to her feet to investigate, opening the door with her usual caution and giving Fuery her quiet smile. "Sergeant, what a nice surprise." As always, she was sure to lock the door behind him.

Roy yawned, coming out of the kitchen while rubbing the back of his neck. Now that his sight had come back, he had allowed himself to relax a little more. He was about to head into his own room, when he saw that the Sergeant had entered.

Immediately, he turned, making his way to them. "Well, well. This is a surprise. Is everything all right?"

When the door opened, Fuery smiled some and turned his attention away from the equipment in his hand. "Hello, Ma'am. I apologize if I came at a bad time," he said lightly. He really probably should have asked to come over, at any rate, but what 's done is what's done. Fuery watched as she locked the door after his entry, and only turned his head when the Colonel sounded.

The smile softened on his features again. "The Lieutenant just said the same thing, Sir. And yes, everything's alright... it's good to see you can see again," Fuery continued in the same town he'd managed all evening, casual. "I just had something I wanted to give you guys, and thought it was better not to put it off any longer. If that's alright, that is."

And he paused, quiet as he looked between the two.

"Not at all--you are on business, I see." Her focus went to whatever device he held in his hand, and it registered that this was probably what the Colonel has mentioned when he was recovering, weeks back by now. She fell into routine, herding both men out of the doorway and into the living room--honestly, everyone simply stood around on this ship...

"Why wouldn't it be all right?" Hayate popped up from where he was investigating beneath the table and wagged his tail at the familiar face, but didn't make his way over just yet. "Have a seat and let's see what you have brought."

Right, straight to business as always. It seemed like any time they could get off was quickly interrupted by something happening. But, that was just something that came with the profession.

"So, this is the thing you were telling me about, huh?" he asked, taking a seat across from him. "I'm afraid I'm not entirely caught up with the technology here, so you're going to have to explain how it works."
