Because this two need to meet in person~ notasinglelady May 28 2010, 00:21:23 UTC
It was the growl what caught his attention. Kurt didn't notice the man at first, he was busy doing, well, nothing really, just enjoying the quietness of the place. 2 days of only walking around with a towel gave him the urge to fin a beach or a pool to relax. As he saw the man approaching him he tried to remember if he knew that face.

Heh. They certainly need to~ fridgevigilante May 28 2010, 02:49:44 UTC
Rorschach had been aware of other people being around this area as well, but he hadn't been looking around for anything resembling a familiar face at all. Which certainly wasn't exactly his usual way of acting. And maybe the vigilante would have been better off paying closer attention to his surroundings, now, that he was kind of limited to his eyes only. But he didn't. A fact that might make him get angry at himself at a later point for sure.

It was this strange carelessness that had him miss out that boy as well. That boy he should have recognized from that video feed. One of those that had only seen his real face so far.

Kurt took off his dark glasses, holding them casually between his fingers, not toying with them like Merecedes pointed out once (he did not toy with stuff or his clothes while was nervous, that was too girly), and waited. That man looked human, but looks could deceive and they lie often, who knew for sure? Kurt nodded slightly when the man was closer, greeting him.

"Good day."

Of course the vigilante couldn't hear those words, having been robbed of his ability to hear and all. But he caught the movement of the boy that apprently spend some of his free time here. And with his attention already on this young man it was fairly hard to miss that he was indeed being adressed by this person. Rorschach frowned a little, but stopped. Lip-reading would have been a useful ability just about now... But even without being able to do so, the man could very well guess, that this was some kind of greeting.

So in reply, he nodded. And offered a barely audible "Hrn." as well. Letting anyone know he couldn't hear them? Not acceptable. But that meant he had to pretend. And to respond.
