[Franziska walks into the room when the coffee machine's bubbling, idly fiddling with the whip in her hands. She looks like she's been busy; her hair's a bit ruffled and without pausing in her movements, she pulls a hair pin out of her pocket and takes her fringe off her face.

It's only then when she looks around the kitchen properly that she notices Dojima's presence there; it surprises her for a moment, because lately it's seemed as though they're never in the apartment at the same time. Her gaze drifts to the bubbling coffee machine then back to Dojima; she decided for once not to whip him as a way of announcing her presence, as she knew some people (especially detectives) were prone to irritability when their caffeine levels were low and she was feeling merciful for once. Instead, she decided instead stating the obvious would be a preferable method of letting him know she was here.]

Making some coffee?

[Cranes his head behind to find Franziska.]

Yeah. Trying something different this time. Want some?

[Her acceptance is shown in her actions before her words. She walks over to the table, pulls a chair out and makes herself comfortable, settling her whip down on her lap.]

Well, since you're offering, I don't see why not. ...But what do you mean by something different? I was under the impression you drank coffee quite frequently.

[He grabs another mug from the cabinet.]

I do. Thought this time I try something a little different. [He then pulls out the sugar and milk.]
