That I put the Doc first does not mean everything else I care about is worthless to me. So that is not what I told him. If he took it that way, it's his fault. So saying things in a confusing may like you want me to fixes nothing.

Very good point. And if I'm nearby, I can try to help if he tries to go after you. At the very least, you could probably use me as a shield.

You guys have fought and made up before. It's just a matter of degree. And I'm trying to get him to realize that DATS isn't an option. As much as I care about him and want to stay with him, they'd just lock me up to rot. We're better off where we are and I damn well know it. Even if he's pissed at you, he cares about me.

You wouldn't be a jerk. I'm volunteering myself, as it's only practical. He'll hesitate to hurt me. You, he'd kill without second thoughts. At least I'd be useful that way.

He thinks his friends in DATS would help him if he came in willingly, I think. For all I know, they could be the same kind of goody goody as the Lights. But they have no reason to help me, and I'm making sure he knows it. I don't think he wants to leave me behind.

If you want to talk about practicality, you wouldn't stand up to being a shield very long and Crash would see it as you taking my side which doesn't help anything. Running would be better.

His friends didn't do anything to help when he was arrested.

He wouldn't want to hurt me when he thinks I'm the only friend he has left of us. All you'd have to do is keep me in the way. I'm giving you permission to use me as an "unwilling" shield if it comes to that.

Crash got arrested for doing something stupid. He didn't turn himself in because he thought he was in serious danger. It might be enough to make it different.

Besides the fact that you couldn't be an unwilling shield because you could Time Stop me to get away, that would piss Crash off more.

I doubt that. You don't get off the hook just because you turn yourself in. If you did, everyone would do that to get a fresh start.
