Today, I received a message from a considerate user on ff.net, letting me know that one of my Remus/Tonks stories, "Dreaming of You" had been plagiarized.
I checked it out. Turns out that, yes. They stole my story nearly word for absolute word.
This is the imposter, GeneMathers,'s work.
This is my original work.
A screen cap would be ridiculous because the entire thing is plagarized. I have reported it to AO3 as well as left comments on this person's fic. They keep deleting my comments, but I keep leaving them anyway.
Emails to GeneMathers have also proven unsuccessful.
This person has seven other stories. I would suggest checking their other stories, as well.
