Plagiarism in the Transformers Fandom by Sarrasi
Hello all!
While reading Transformers today by Sarrasi, I got this strange sense of deja-vu that I'd read her fic before. After I wracked my brain for a good bit, it hit me - this story was incredibly similar to the 2007 movie novelization I'd read a few years back. So, I dusted off my book, and low and behold, it's a word-for-word lift of a copyrighted work. I've capped the first chapter here and used Amazon.com's preview option, since I'm not sure the legailiies of scanning and uploading copyrighted works to this site. Well, that and I'm kind of lazy, and I don't know how I'd shoot the book through my scanner. ;)
Side note, forgive me mods if this is in any way incorrect. It's late, and I'm tired.

Apparently, I'm not the only person who has recognized the book in this story. For the record, the anonymous review is NOT mine. I've not yet contacted Sarrasi to discuss with her my feelings of plagairsim (nor do I plan to) as I felt it would be best left to you. Any help you can render in this case would be greatly appreciated. I know all thievery makes me uncomfortable, but to have someone allegedly lifting a published, copyrighted work makes me mad.
Thanks for all the hard work you guys do! It's amazing and awesome that there are at least some small options in the way of recourse for authors who choose to steal.
Note: Also mods, there is another part of this story, but I'm on the fence about as far as relativity is concerned. PM me about it, and I'll gladly get into it. I don't want to post it here since it would be unfounded as I don't have screen caps, but I have several people in the fandom that could back me up on what happened. Basically, it goes to motive (God, can you tell what my degree was by what I just said there, lol?) and how this author has tried in the not-so-distant past to post excerpts and "spoilers" from the movies' tie in novels.
