[Once Jade is not dancing or being silly on the floor, she's settled down at a table while observing others. She may have gotten something to snack on briefly, but mostly she's taking the time to admire everything.

Feel free to bother her though! She'll be more than up for a conversation.]

[Part of Kyoya's role tonight is to ensure the guests are happy and well cared for - how they regard things reflects on him, after all. And so now he approaches Jade, though he doesn't sit]

[oh! Jade tilts her head as he addresses her, smiling widely after.]

Yes! I am, thank you! It's all very exciting.

Okay so I now want these two to dance?

Have you been to many such gatherings before?

YES, THEY SHOULD

I haven't! Where I lived it was on an island, it was only me and my dog Bec so not many gatherings to attend. Now I'm wishing there was, this is such an exciting experience.

[Even with Tamaki not on board, Kyoya can't help but here the probable response to Jade's comment. Fuss would likely be an understatement.

For his part, that she has so little experience leads Kyoya to think that he should make sure she enjoys this one. Cold he may be most of the time but he also knew when to turn up the charm]

I see. Then you have, I imagine, little experience in the kind of dancing most common at these kinds of events.

Oh! Yes, that's right. I've been dancing for the most part, but some of the dancing people do together I don't know very well. It looks fun though!

[Her gaze travels to two and twos, watching them dance and twirl with a air of grace.]

[He smiles, extending a hand to her]

Then perhaps you would do me the honour of having this next dance.

[Jade blinks back, surprised at the invitation and a blush surfaces for a moment before she takes his hand and stands.]

Okay!

[He leads her out onto the dance floor, flashing her a reassuring smile]

Don't worry, I'll go easy on you. Simply follow my lead and you'll soon pick it up.

Okay, uhm.. oh shoot I never told you my name did I? I'm Jade!

[She follows after of course, smiling that huge excited smile of hers.]

Oh, I'm sorry, how impolite of me not to ask. A pleasure to meet you, Jade. My name is Kyoya Ohtori.

[All with charm dialled up to eleven. It's clear that he is more than at home in such an environment]

That's alright! It's nice to meet you too Kyoya!

[All that charm, but Jade sees it as him being very polite. Sorta like Rose but without the added sarcasm.]

[He smiles, leading her in a few basic steps in time to the music. Having danced with those of all skill levels, he's adept at sounding out how much natural rhythm his partner has and to reacting accordingly]

[Oh! Jade is sorta taken aback, because while she does know some dancing it's a style that is mostly out of place and wild. Intending for fun after all. But she pays attention to be lead along, moving with his steps.]

[Alas, wild dancing is very much not Kyoya's forte. But what he does do well, he does exceedingly well. And this sort of dance is one he is more than familiar with.]
