The brash and bold fingerbanged must have been in the boiler room for something. Maybe he saw the culprit? It's entirely possible, given the culprit saw him and did something about it.
One of the heavy power cables is sparking and cut near the body, and he is thoroughly singed. You might not have gotten here right away, but the smell... ugh, that might have prompted a few of you to investigate. Death by electrocution. Unpleasant, and now he's thoroughly cooked.
