You eat it, stupid. Besides, you don't have to be in costume. I'm sure plenty of people will give you candy if you ask for it. Especially if there's leftovers.

I'm not really fond of candy. Anyway it's better to just let kids have the fun. I wouldn't want to take any candy from anyone who's really looking forward to it.
