[ Nils is trying to learn how to make jack'o'lanterns (and learn what one even looks like)! When he sees her toss everything into a cauldron, though, he is very confused. How does that... ]

How do you make a jack'o'lantern if you can't use magic? [ He points at the cauldron. ]

Use the knives and stuff. I wonder if there are instructions lying around somewhere.

You probably just cut up the thing to look like a jack'o'lantern.

Yep! I think you have to empty it out first, though.

So you can put the candle in?

Yeah. Have you never made a jack'o'lantern before?

[ He shakes his head. ] I haven't made one before.

Hmm. Well, let's try it together! The regular way.

[playstheflute]

[ He hesitates for a moment, then approaches. ] Alright... It shouldn't be too difficult, right?

[napnotwork]

I hope not! I hate difficult things!

Do you know how to get started?

Um, well, first you have to cut off the top of the pumpkin so you can get inside of it. Probably.

[playstheflute]

[ Nils nods slightly, picking up one of the carving knives and awkwardly stabbing the top of the pumpkin. He's kind of on the short side, so it isn't the easiest for him, but he's managing. ]
