That wasn't a job. That was a nightmare.
Suì-Fēng was preparing to leave once more the room that day, having recently found out that if someone didn't answer the door when she went looking for them she had to keep the 'items' at least for a few hours or until she managed to get rid of them, handing them to their rightful owners.
Still, she couldn't help getting distracted for a moment when she saw Minako walking by. Lowering her voice, she put her hand briefly on the girl's arm to get her attention. "Talked to him yet?" She nodded towards their new roommate, vaguely annoyed with the fact it had to be a guy, but pleased with the fact she hadn't seen anything weird or particularly out of the ordinary. At least not yet.
The baby, the 'item' she was about to try and deliver once more, stirred in his basket, and she immediately pushed the pacifier into his mouth. Pretty amazing those things, weren't they? Plug in, no more noise. Really nice.
"Maybe you should."
Minako just... generally came across as less intimidating and nicer, for reasons she couldn't fathom. Besides, she was inept at anything that required too much social interaction. It was better to send someone else to reconnoitre.
