Part I: Eating and Mingling

[Once everything was set up, Lemina grabbed herself a plate, served herself some salad, and took her seat at the head of the middle table. Once everyone was here and they all had a bite to eat, they could get down to business.]

Yeah... I'd really only be decent at teaching advanced students. There's a reason I don't ever intend on taking on an apprentice.

Usually an apprentice is someone who at least knows the basics before studying under you, but I see what you mean.

Still, you may have to do some teaching if you plan to be active in this guild.

I can do some. Short term. But nothing like you. I'm good at being someone people come to when they need help, not someone to learn from.

[Well she is a shut-in that focuses on her research. Just not EXCLUSIVELY like Alice seems to do. Patchy's not talking to her books and pretending they talk back.]
