[Yeah, Mello isn’t really all that happy about having roommates. But AH WELL, he survived living with Renge so far, so he would easily handle this.

[As he enters he looks around the room, analysing it and as he does so, he notices Minato.] Already making the place feel like home, I see.

[He nods a bit.]

Not much, but we'll be here for a while. Might as well put something up.

Six weeks isn't very long. [He hoped it'd only be six weeks.]

[After picking a random bed, Mello puts his bag there and takes out his computer. Yeaahh, work, he takes it seriously.]

Still, better than a bare wall.

[After a bit more pacing, he does eventually sit down on his bed, doing nothing in particular.]

[As long it's not pink]

[Mello finally stops paying attention to the computer. Might as well know the other people he is deal with.] I'm M.

"M"? That's either a really simple name or you're not giving it to me entirely.

Does it truly matter?

If we're going to be working together for the next six weeks, yes.

Sincerely, it does not matter, because I can just lie about it. [He reaches for his pocket, grabbing a chocolate bar]

So, you can either accept my name is really that simple, or you can make one up based on the letter. Or I can make one up.

What's so bad about giving your actual name?

[He lays down on his bed, contemplating taking a nap. Maybe after the conversation.]

I'm a paranoid asshole. [he sounds slightly amused]

At least you admit it, but you're not gonna be any help on the mission if you remain like that, at least to the rest of the crew.

I doubt knowing my real name will be of any help on the mission. "M" will do fine.

It helps establish morale, as well as a few other things. It's just better that way.

... Name's Minato, by the way. Guess I shouldn't be talking about it unless I'm willing to live up to it myself.

[Better or not, no way he will be giving his name]

[BUT, if you insist]

Mello. Happy? [that still isn't his real name |: ]

Better than "M", at least.

[Now hat that was done and well, he decides to have a moment to sleep. Least he got somewhere with the guy.]
