[And an unexpected flash of pain prompts her to wince. Suddenly, beeeping. Her guide was signalling that it was time for the next dose. Just great. Instead of a painkiller, she was going to take in something to intensify her discomfort.]
[Taking a blister pack from her pocket, she took out a pill and swallowed it with a gulp of water.]
I beg your pardon.
[She stood to fetch a sheet of paper with notes on it before moving over to kill the beeping of her Guide. Sitting back down, she took a pen out of her pocket and hastily scribbled the time of the dose and the side effects experienced.]
