Rising to greet him she gives a bright smile.]

Unfortunately, context is important to jokes. And because Irene didn't have the proper knowledge to properly appreciate the jokes, she just smiled slightly through them.

And she gives Mister Kakashi a side glance at his comment.

I'm pleased you find me sufficiently attractive, kind sir. [She smiles kindly at Kakashi to ease her words - she is not annoyed with him, after all. She then turns to the one she is annoyed with: the host. She gives a honeyed smile that thinly veils her sharp mood.]
I do hope at least one of you can make me laugh, then. However, [she drops her voice] I do find it hard to be amused by someone who is troubling me.
[Blinking for a moment (that was a scary look the lady was giving him), he laughs at her words.]
Wow, tough crowd. I get it! I get it! You're not the first. You'll see, we'll help your guy out and get you laughing. Okay~, let's bring out our first comic...

Taking hold of her flowers she waits for an opportune moment. When the comic is looking off to the side, she slips out of her chair and into the darkness of the room. Without glancing back she purposefully makes her way out.
On the other side of the door she smiles, then leaves it open a crack to look and see how Mister Kakashi is faring.]
