[Mikoto was just on her way back to the apartment right then as usual after she came back from her job that she had for this month. She was just about to near the door when she took a slight detour to visit her friend, knocking on the door]

Kushina?

[Since Kushina isn't expecting any visitors, the knock makes her jump and drop her cooking utensil into the pan with a clatter. She blinks in surprise and turns the burner to a low simmer before answering.]

Just a sec! Be right there! Geez, I wonder who that is. Was Naruto expecting someone?

[She leaves on her apron (and hat) as she jogs over to the front entry and then opens the door.

A smile quickly appears on her face -eyes lighting up- at the sight before her.]

Hey! Mikoto! This is kinda unexpected! Come in, I'm just starting dinner.

Hey-- [Mikoto smiles as she sees Kushina open the door. She soon steps inside as her friend invites her in and her glance seems to go straight to the to the various clothes and design that were lying around on the dining room table]

I thought I'd come over to visit for a bit. It seems like you've been keeping pretty busy.

[Immediately her eyes follow her friend's to spot all her work on the table. Whoops.]

Oh, that's just stuff for my mission this month. Kinda dumb...

[She turns back and leads Mikoto into the room, shoving her things away so they can take a seat.]

Besides I'm glad you came over to visit! We're neighbors 'n all. You gonna stay for a while?

For a mission? These are clothes you're designing then? [She takes one more look before she follows Kushina and sits down with her]

Y-Yeah! It's really...dumb. I'm not very good at designing clothes anyway but I thought everything is worth trying at least once! You know?
