That's that, Glastonbury-ers.

Kylie is replaced by Basement Jaxx.

Errr, wha?

I cannot decide what I think of this.

I thought it was Basement Jaxx AND Primal Scream? Not that I really care!

Well Primal Scream have been added as there was always a gap 2nd down the bill there, but Basement Jaxx are the actual headliners.

I didn't even know that many people liked Basement Jaxx. Bar Red Alert which is ace, I have no real opinion on them.

And anyway yez want something mahooseev and/or silly for the final night and frankly the Jaxx just aren't it.

scary amounts of ppl like teh Jaxx. not as many as kylie. they do have a few choons, but aye, i would agree they certainly are not enough for the last night. you want erasure or someone who can rival kylie in teh costume stakes!

I don't think I'm over the disappointment of not getting to see Kylie yet, that's probably why I'm so bah humbug about the whole thing...

I saw Basement Jaxx at Coachella last year. They were midway down the bill. I watched a couple of songs and then got bored and walked off.

Rub.

Teh Jaxx are astounding at Glasto...I was dancing to their Other Stage saturday headline set from my death bed in my tent...Kate said Where's Your Head At was so mental that she was dancing to it like a loon in the rain. Their JazzWorld set about 5 years ago was one of the most fantastic things I heve ever seen. It's about the only last minute replacement I can think would make me happy, bar The Flaming Lips.

Oooooh...or Faithless or Underworld or Chemical Brothers...it's surprising how good the Dance acts are at handling the late night slots.

Ack well, that's not so bad then eh? I'm not entirely displeased. Certainly of the other names bandied around it would have been my choice anyway.

I think I might still be sulking that Kylie's not doing it.
