We stopped off my my folks house and my dad gave me a CD of all of his guitar performances from when I was a child and he was a studio musician. It's all his original stuff, and I am sitting here, tears running down my face remembering how he used to play my sister and I to sleep with beautiful acoustic music. That's so sweet. My dad's a flamenco guitarist; it's not quite the same in that it's not original work (and he's never recorded professionally that I know of), but I do miss waking up to that sound in the morning.

I'm of course really here to apologize for jumping down your throat about the SWC icon -- I had no idea you got it from someone else who swiped it (how the heck did they find it? weird-ass internet freaks! ;); and also, I was PMSing, that's my main defense. I get really territorial when I PMS.

Aren't you a doll? Trust me, I felt like a late bloomer dorkwad for not knowing the ins and outs. No harm done, and it made me figure stuff out faster!

My dad was particularly fond of flamenco and other Spanish styles, and there is nothing better than being a little girl listening to your dad play the guitar...

I read that you and Love were heading to LA - best to you both!
