I made a terrible mistake this weekend. The weather channel app on my phone indicated a massive shift in our weather here in North Texas, so we cancelled our Labor Day party and moved everything up to Saturday before rain and freezing temps moved in. My giant comment of love mentioned Alison duBois - after I saw the 'Dinner Party from Hell' episode I rushed off and googled her. What a freak circus of weird. TALK ABOUT ISSUES! She can be summed up by the fact that she changed her and her husband's surname by deed pool to DuBois - apparently his surname was too unusual (it was Klupar) I suspect the real reason was because it wasn't special and exotic enough.

Surprise me? I just screamed and wet my pants. I wonder if it's less her having friends and instead her having accolades, because the only way I think you could stand to be in her company is if you think she has The Gift (queue whale song and glitter bomb), or if she was pointed and aimed at someone you also didn't like.

Oh, my sister went through her "psychic" phase and was friends with one of Alison's friends, and they instantly were attracted to each other's kookiness, I guess.

I need to work in more KNOW THIS moments. OOoooh, like how I do Uncle Nino for the Jersey Shore recaps, I'll put in Alison being cocky. LOL.

Isn't it hilarious that a show was based on her and she's a complete and utter fraud? Now why was that show cancelled...
