I did cookies last week and doubled the batch and tossed most of it in the freezer in a couple logs, too. Here I was feeling all clever and organized and then you come up with something even better! Fresh baked cookies on demand!

Ha! I was on the phone with my BFF telling her what we were doing and she laughed at me, because it's such a Utah Mormon thing to do. :D I usually make cookie balls and freeze them, but the log/slices bake up nicer from the freezer.

WE ARE JUST BOTH SMART.

A news station did something similar a few years ago. They had a father who had just returned from Iraq surprise his 5 year old in school. After the initial shock at seeing his Dad, the little boy ran to him and just lost it. I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

Chocolate chip cookies. Mmm.

The show also intercuts various videos from the internet where people have done this. The ones that DESTROY me are the dogs that flip out when their human comes home. AUUUUGH, CRY CRY CRY!!!
