Can I tell you how badly I want to see the Friar's Club roast Quentin Tarrantino? Not because I don't own every single movie he's done (it's true, I can't help myself, they are fun, fun movies) but because there's something so totally repugnant about him and I yet still enjoy his movies. But Whitney Cummings apparently got some awesome zingers in ( Read more... )

I feel like I'm the only person watching the OUTSTANDING show, In Treatment.

I hadn't heard of it, so I looked it up. That was when I found out WHY I wasn't watching it--it's on HBO, which I don't have. (I canceled all the movie channels so that I would not have to pay 200 dollars a month for cable, phone and Internet. Comcast gouges people, yo.)

Anyway, it sounds like it's very good. Painful, but good. And I'm glad that you're enjoying it so much.

I didn't know that they even MADE movie shorts any longer.

I think you can watch a lot of it on HBO.com, but I may be wrong. It's just an outstanding piece of work, the whole of it.

And dude, shorts never went away! They still give out Oscars and Golden Globes for shorts, they're a mainstay of film festivals all over the world. You just have to be looking for them, since most people only care about the Jerry Bruckheimer explosion movies. ;)

It's apparently a knock off of the dress Kate Middleton wore at their engagement announcement, lol. IF IT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR A FUTURE PRINCESS, etc et.

I think I figured it out - there's a "Laura Stone" on Young and the Restless. I'm going to sign a bar of soap and send it to the group. :D

Also, LOL.

I LOVE TO QUOTE PULP FICTION. I mean, there's not a scene in there without at least four or five good ones, amirite?

:D

It's pretty awesome. Quentin Tarantino is really good at dialogue. When I was holding auditions for my movie in film school this girl came in and did her monologue from Reservoir Dogs and it was amazing, she blew me away.

What's your favorite scene from Pulp Fiction? I just watched it recently too so

If you don't shout out, "If any of you pigs f*cking MOVE, I'll execute every last f*cking one of you!" or "I gotta go pee!" I'll consider the night a FAILURE.

Hee.
