On my way home from Minnesota with the freshly-repaired truck (no, I haven't LJed that story yet; perhaps I'm blocking), I stopped for gas just inside the Wisconsin line. Hey, this isn't a MN debacle, this is a WI debacle. I disavow any knowledge of what goes on across the border.

But to the topic at hand: I shall paraphrase from a ballad that I believe Maeglin would also recognize.

Hey that's pretty crappy thing for that kwik stop to do.
I still don't know what exactly went down on Pork day.
All I know is that you were awol, and everybody was concerned about your whereabouts.

And as lno said, it'a a Wisconsin debacle, if it happened in MN, you may have been shot, lynched, forced to eat lutefisk or deported to Iowa.
