In the abstract, there isn't anything wrong with being rich. It becomes a problem in context and when your wealth is dependent on the poverty of others -- when you become rich on the backs of others.

Yeah, this is starting to sound a bit like the kind of Marxist rhetoric that my great-grandmother, the Wobblie, used to say. I'm understanding her point of view more and more . . .
