I got to work this morning not really knowing what to expect. I came upon a letter from management that said the "Schedule Overhaul" project had been scrapped. For several reasons. It will still happen eventually, but this round of paperwork has been tossed out the window. Apparently one of the reasons is that a lot of people wrote valid points in

Jon and I are going to the game just to see the Bobby Bones crew and hear Amy sing! :) Fun, fun! It does suck that the overhaul has to be done over again. I can't believe they expected it to work the first time. Some people have to be TOLD to switch over when you're idle in apps/fres. What the heck? Those are the people who just don't follow directions. Poop! Anyway, good luck again! :)

OH! Dustin and I are definitely gonna be there. He's taking off half a day just to do it so we'll be running a little late but we'll make it somehow. I gave the boys their first Riverfest buttons ever so this will be his first real experience of the action that is Riverfest. We could meet up there, if you want! I have a couple other friends who might go but so far it's only me and Dustin for SURE.

I took that day off too! And, Jon is taking half a day, too. That's the night I'd normally start my T1 job so I took both T3 and T1 shifts off. Plus, Jon's bday is Thursday so we'll just make it one big birthday weekend. :) It would be cool to meet up. I'll have to run that by Jon. He's SO shy. Plus, we don't plan to stay the whole game.. just until Bobby throws the first pitch. Then we'll hit the rest of the River Festival. Funny thing is, I've lived here off and on for 12 years and I've never been. Sad, huh?

Ah well, we are planning on staying for the game. We really do actually want to check out the new team. I bet a ton of people are going just to see Amy sing and Bones throw a pitch. Nothin wrong with that though. It'll just free up some more seats. That's the only thing I'm concerned about, since he won't get off til 5:45, we'll be cutting it close to be there by 7. Oh well.

That's craziness you've lived here 12 years and never gone. There's so many fun things to do!
