People are happier around the holidays. People feel better.

Not entirely. I can feel fine even when the people around me don't, but it's easier when they're feeling good. It's not enjoyable to be around negative emotions for long periods of time.

[Her eyes are like saucers and she has to do a little dance to keep herself from reaching out and grabbing all the money]
