[jumps up and hugs him, wrapping her legs around and sticks her face in his shoulder, taking a deep breath]

People say lots of things.

It's true, they do.

[ catches her and hugs back, but not as tightly as he might want ]

[stolengood]

[Stays that way for a moment, just digging her face into his shoulder and then hops down and punches him in the arm]

And don't touch my stuff.

But your stuff is so interesting . . .

[ takes the punch like a man ]

[takes a step back to compulsively straighten some more and not look at him]

Oh. So, did you just show up for that?

[watchingthegame]

Not just for that.

[stolengood]

Well, good, because it's pretty useless for people who aren't me. I know better than to keep valuable stuff around.

I'd expected nothing less.

[stolengood]

[fiddles with the stuff with a bit of an awkward air but can't help herself from a smile]

I'm glad you remembered me.

Oh man, that's would've been awkward.

Yeah, I would've killed you. Or had Eliot do it, I guess.

And that would have been an unpleasant first meeting.
