No one had to teach Severus to regret. It seemed as though he had an overactive sense of it, actually. It never really made him think before he spoke, but after he spoke… well he couldn’t stop thinking, could he? Funny how so many of the regrets that really stuck with him involved Remus Lupin.

Thanks. It's a relief to hear I still have a knack for the characters, because I struggled a little bit at first. I think this meme was a good way to start back, it lets me get in character's heads without having to worry too much about plot.
