Ah, thanks... I am terrible about accuaracy with the whole it's, its, your, you're... thing.... I try to catch it on the re-read, but I have a feeling a lot of mistakes sneak through! ^_^

I like how their relationship is developing. The scene while they were near the tower made me think of the Titanic scene. It's very cute.

As for minor corrections The line "Bugger Potions." Charlie announced suddenly, yawning dramatically and shutting his text. I am never taking this course again.
I'm pretty sure "I am never taking this course again" should be in quotes.

Er. Anyway.

Your Tonks has a really nice blend of dedication and risk-taking (while the Astronomy Tower might not have been a "real" risk in her mind, there's always the chance of the charm going wrong and all) that I can see standing her in good stead as an Auror, later.

I like that first kiss, so sudden and unplanned, and gaining the red hair. And the end both rang true for a tomboy and made me sad for Charlie -- I don't get the impression that he was sitting there gloating.

I really worry that I am totally ruining the characters, especially since I have not read much fanfiction with them featured, at all. It's good to hear that you like what I am doing with Tonks character.

I don't like my favourite characters getting off with anyone... I think I am unusual to say the least because this seems to be most people's main reason for fanfiction. :P

But I've wanted to press my skin against someone else and almost become them, and it makes sense that Tonks would become red haired and freckly as she kissed Charlie. Kinda freaky for him though, don't you think? I think he took it rather calmly.

I've been thinking about her metamorphagus ability. Do you think that Tonks can just change into other people, or can she change into magical creatures like merpeople, animals, plants, other living things, objects like tables etc? Can she change size? Can she change her clothes or do they stay the same? It would be neat if you were Tonks and you didn't have to go shopping for new clothes, wouldn't it? Just change to the clothes you wanted (though they'd wear out eventually, I suppose).

I know a lot of people who are totally in it for the gen, so no I don't think your are necessarily unusual, though I can't say I agree with you. I do have a special place in my heart for gen, but I like to see my favourite characters getting their ends with eachother too. Though, to be honest, neither Charlie or Tonks were really one of my favourite characters before I wrote this, though I have grown rather fond of them in the process. ^_
