this is going to be brief... but the general idea.
austin's a fantastic city. audrey and i have a sweet apartment full of empty cans of lonestar. she and i have lots o fun hanging around the apartment or wandering about the city. joe's been great about inviting us to hang out with him and his friends. showcase is awesome. law school is good, not too hard yet, but progressively getting more difficult. i'm making friends. every's super nice and supportive and generally fun loving... lots of people are kind of politician-y but i think my awkwardness and silly nature is cracking their composure a bit. i bike to class and back. i never drive more than 15 minutes at any given time. umm... that's all i've got for now. life has been really good since i moved out here. i miss everyone.

from the birmingham front - life is really good. my internship is great & i've been having lots of fun times with daniel, adam, alex, charles, & various other people you knew once upon a time. i'm in the process of getting grad school applications together (looks like it'll most likely be texas state, san diego state, or simmons in boston) & studying for the gre, so all of that is scary & intimidating & stressing me out majorly. another internship with a publishing company is in the works for next spring. i'm glad things are going so well for you. seattle looks absolutely gorgeous.

will your internship in the spring allow you a week to come out to austin? if not, you shouldn't take it. =)

i will totally come visit you in austin next spring, regardless of when my internship is! i will pretty much have to, actually, because one of the schools i'm applying to (& am automatically accepted to) is 30 miles south of austin & i'll most certainly be visiting there. so i'd be pretty crazy to go all the way to san marcos & not drive the extra half-hour to see you!
