Its a good start....and intriguing one to say the least. I liked the description and the use of a blowdart was unusual.

I have no idea how you will wrap this up in three chapters but I would like to read more.

Thank you very much. Ah yes, much less messy than a gun or something. But there will be more to that in future chapters. I'm glad you liked the description and are interested. I'm very glad to hear it.

I won't - I mistakenly put three on there. I'm not sure how I managed making that mistake. I apologize about the misinformation. I have corrected it on the summary info and didn't mean to allow for confusion. It will be longer than three chapters.

Thank you for reading and reviewing.

Long chapters are amazing.

I suspect they will come as it's impossible for me not to end up there. I tired to find a good example of what I mean by long from former stories I've written with an actual word count. I do mean upwards of ten thousand words when I say long. Typically I average four to five thousand words a chapter. It can be intimidating and I fear, at times, it deters readers. I hope to avoid running anyone off before I start this time. That's all. But I suspect they will come to be long(er) as I just...can't...help...myself.

Amazing.

Loved the way that you don't tell much, but the reader can guess a lot.
I'm assuming that Reita did not know that he had to kill Aoi? Maybe I just read that wrong ^^-

Will be waiting for the next chapters.

Thank you!

Perfect, excellent, fantastic - exactly. That is precisely what I was hoping for; that it's all implied and it sounds like you hit it head on. Your assumption is spot on. He did not know, you read exactly correct.

Thank you for the delightful review and taking the time to read. I appreciate it very much. I hope to have the next chapter done soon, ideally today.

I have an interest the rugged, dingy type of characters--i.e. assassin types. Not necessarily the obvious good or bad types. I adore it, so it is fantastic that you think I handle it well. I really appreciate you saying that.

Confident and calm--indeed! Its good that you could pick up on that too. That was my intent at least. Same with Reita and his only weakness being Aoi. Thank you so much for reading and I hope I can you keep interested as well.
