Question: Which US sim card?

Mar 29, 2011 00:32

I used to have a US T-Mobile sim card but have misplaced it. So am debating who I should go with for my trip to Chicago in May.

I have an unlocked HTC Desire android. So would want something with data as well as talk minutes and texting. Is it still possible to get a pay as you go sim card?

chicago, sim card, usa

Knowing you, Derek, I'd go with the one that costs the least if you lose it.

Are you saying I am the sort of fellow to loose things? ;-)

Oh, Derek...if you could only lose that extra O in "lose"...

I'm not trying to be bitchy. It's just tumbling out of me.

tmobile is the easiest/cheapest pay as you go gsm provider here. I don't know about data tho..

My last one was T-Mobile. I will probably go with them again. Just wondered if ATT was any better.

T-Mobile 3G is 1700/2100, AT&T is 850/1900... that might help your decision.

BTW, as you will read, some people seem to find it better to buy a cheap phone packaged with a SIM rather than just the SIM by itself.
