Hmm, it's more a general smoked-meat-devotion maybe; I'm not much on pork in itself, it's good in dumplings and that, but has that aftertaste. But anything with a woodsy quality, like bacon has, is enjoyable. Even faux-bacon would do.

I miss Book Club...

That is an epic story! Bacon is worth the effort though, nothing quite like it on a sandwich :-)
