A crash on the balcony startled Wayne. He looked up from the paperwork he'd been reviewing during breakfast and frowned. When he heard someone calling out a greeting, he reached for his wand and headed towards the balcony.

He stepped outside and blinked when he saw Orla hanging off the balcony. A broom was near his foot and he shook his head as he put his wand into the back pocket of his jeans. It was bloody cold outside, but he'd not had time to grab a shirt on his way to investigate.

"Another flying accident, Miss Orla?" he asked, reaching down to grab her hand and help her to her feet. Once she was standing, he looked her over. "All your parts seem to be in order. Want some coffee?"

Orla nodded, grunting a bit as he helped her off the ledge. "Something like that. I lost focus when my hat flew off." She got to her feet, dusting off the snow stuck to her coat, and looked around. She didn't see her hat, so she pulled her wand, and attempted to summon it. It didn't come, so she sighed, pocketing her wand. She finally looked at Wayne, relieved he was wearing pants, if no shirt. She tried not to stare, looking up at his face as she smiled ruefully. "So sorry to intrude on you. Coffee would be lovely, if its not putting you out." She was embarrassed to have gotten into his hair, but at the same time, she was glad to see a smiling face. The talk with George had ended on a rather flat note, and as much as she wanted to be his friend, she wasn't sure how that would go.

"That's why you shouldn't fly with a hat on, love," Wayne said, grinning as she stood up and got situated.

"Not intruding. Was just working, actually. I've slipped into old habits, have to admit, which means you're saving me from myself. Come on in."

After she was inside, he followed and shut the door. "Have a seat and I'll get you some coffee. Just made a fresh pot. Anything in it?"

She looked mournfully off the balcony. "I wanted to keep my head warm. I've been trying not to get sick, what with the cold and all, but...." She shrugged. No use crying over milk she hadn't spilled yet ( ... )
