It was a year to the day since the news that the war had ended broke over Stoatshead Hill. Looking at Ron, Lavender had to be grateful to someone somewhere for bringing such an amazing man back into her life. Certainly when they'd met again a few weeks later she had never expected things to turn out the way they had, but here they were trying to find somewhere to live together.
Lavender closed the gate behind her, glancing back at the house they had just looked at and trying to imagine them living there. She looked up at Ron and offered him a smile as she straightened her cloak. "Do you want to look at any more places or shall we call it a day? I don't really mind what we do."
