Remus sat in his study, reading the note over several times as if he could not believe what it contained. He read it over three times, and even then he had to think that it was some giant fabrication. There was no way that things would be falling into place like this. It was... impossible. And yet, here was the note from Rabastan saying that there was timber -- and that they may actually be able to have a full Potions lab.

Perhaps that would be a nice bit of enticement for Severus.

The only issue was that it was from Rabastan. True, Remus had no problem with the man. He could understand a bit more of Rabastan's motives and why he had done what he had only because of his involvement with Severus. The atrocities of war caused at his lover's hands... it was war. It was how a man changed and truly acted was what made all the difference in the world.

Remus quickly penned a note to Horace.

Horace,

All of that I will discuss with Minerva when we next meet.

A package like the one you described would be the most helpful for the students I would wager. And would be most assuredly welcomed as well.

I will admit, I haven't looked at the potions classrooms since we last visited there together. If you would like to look over the equipment, please, feel free to do so whenever you'd like. The workers are, I believe, finishing installing the furniture in the classrooms and other finishing touches as well. There should be someone around, so do not feel as if you must wait for me to be present to go. Though, if you wish me there, we most certainly can arrange a time.

Warmly,
Remus J Lupin
