RP: Book Club Meeting Number Two

The refreshments were organized and the seating areas had been arranged for a better meeting. It was nearly seven, so Hermione checked the Loft to make sure everything was set for the second book club meeting. They'd agreed at the last meeting to have it on the first Tuesday of every month, so she hoped people remembered.
Normally, she'd have sent a reminder, but last week had been rather busy, so she'd forgot to add it to her list of things to get done. Hopefully a few people might remember. If not, well, Roger was here so she'd just make him read to her. She could even enjoy poetry when she was snuggled against him listening to him read. Not that she'd ever admit that, necessarily. It was far better to make him think he had to convince her since his methods of persuasion were usually enjoyable.
Along with the book she'd brought to trade, she also had a couple copies of a new romance novel that a client was planning to put out soon. She thought it would be wise to find someone in the book club to give it a read and possibly provide a basic critique before the final edits were complete. Surely one or two members enjoyed wizarding romance novels about a professor falling for his apprentice. Since it wasn't her sort of reading material, she couldn't give an honest opinion on content, so she hoped this idea proved successful.
She gave Roger a kiss before she sat down to wait for the meeting to begin.
