Kingsley had a day patrol earlier, having switched with another Auror who had some issue or another to deal with today. It was something of a relief to have a break from farm work. He liked it, but it was exhausting and he wasn't as young as he used to be.
Young. Didn't need to be thinking about that.
He wouldn't be truthful if he said that Susan's youth didn't worry him. What the hell was a woman her age doing wanting a man of his? He was still thinking about that one when he reached the Five Alarm and shifted his bowling bag to his opposite hand to open the door.
