Adrian was just about to head to his family's estate when an unfamiliar bird perched itself on his bedroom terrace and he stepped out into the chilly air to snatch the letter from it. The owl flew off without a reply and so he assumed it wasn't a rush. He read the note and smirked to himself, good thing Angelina is exactly who she is, he thought, and he went inside to pen a response.

He called Strix and sent his fickle familiar off with the note and looked forward to the coming week.
