After a bad night's sleep, Parvti decided it was time to keep a sleep potion on hand. After all, Orla had mentioned perscribing one. She decided to pick some up before work. After stopping at the bakery for muffins, she opened the door to the Apothecary.

After opening up the door, she looked around to find someone with the requisite red hair restocking the shelves. A second look convinced her it was Fred. "Good morning, Fred," she called out cheerfully. "How have you been?"

Fred turned around slowly upon hearing his name. He grinned as he recognized Parvati Patil. It had been quite a while.

"Hey, Parvati!" It was nice to see a familiar face. "I've been well. Yourself?" He paused. "Oh, right. Sorry." He proceeded with a much faker tone. "Welcome to Weasley's Apothecary and Potions. How may I help you?"

Fred winked and continued in a more normal voice. "Gotta keep up shop appearances, you know."

Parvati laughed at Fred's attempt to be serious. "Sorry, Fred, not buying it. The day Fred Weasley becomes a completely dull shopkeeper is the day I'll start looking around for flying pigs and Muggles on broomsticks."

"It's great to see you," she added. "Actually, I came in for something to help me sleep. You see, I've decided to become a potion addict on top of all my other vices."

Fred looked hurt. "I'll have you know that we stock flying pigs on aisle four and there are Muggles on broomsticks... well... practically everywhere. Just not for another four and a half months or so." His face lightened up. "But of course, wouldn't want to be completely dull anyway. What fun is there in that?"

"Wonderful to see you, too," Fred added with a grin. "Been far too long. But I'm sorry, we don't stock the terribly addictive potions you're looking for. Only the milder Sleeping Draught, really, so if you're looking to become a Draught of Living Death junkie, I'm afraid you'll have to go elsewhere." He looked momentarily concerned, but he didn't want to pry. Wasn't his job to poke about in customer's personal lives, but he didn't want to see an old friend in trouble. "If you're in a real pinch, you can get George to tell you about his love life. Puts me to sleep every time," he added with a wink.
