RP: Inviting scents

Summary: The flat doesn't quite feel like home again, so Dennis sets out early to fix that.

Dennis had slept fitfully, and finally given up in the wee hours. Somehow, his flat felt strange, alien, to him. Maybe it was because of the power being back on, and he'd gotten use to doing without. Maybe it was simply that he hadn't lived there long enough to have it feel like home after being away. No matter. He knew something he could do to help with that.
Two hours later, a steaming mug of Hot Chocolate in his hand and the windows and door open, to let fresh air in (and hoping allergens didn't come with it), and the scent of cinnamon bread wafting from the oven, he glanced up as he hear footfall from the hall.
