Arabella was pleased to see Poindexter, Caradoc's owl, at her window. She responded immediately, offering Poindexter a dead mouse while he waited for her reply. Tufty had always been a good mouser and she hoped he would relay that skill to little Cheddar, once he stopped hissing at the kitten.

Dear Caradoc,

I see you've wasted no time setting up the first meeting of the Music Club. I shall write the date, 17 May, on my calendar. You can expect to see me exiting Remus' Floo at half-seven. Are you eating enough these days? Just let Cai know when you'd like to come by and I'll make sure to have enough dinner for both of us.

You have my thanks for the information. The sun does not set terribly late, but I will be there as early as possible.

And yes, I wouldn't mind giving some lessons as long as I was given a few minutes to warm up.
