He saw that the note was smeared with a bit of honey but he didn't think Dennis would mind. It showed his appreciation of good food and all that. Dean put the biscuit in his mouth to hold it and stuck the note to the door before he read it over.

She was even more surprised when she opened the note enclosed. Colin's brother; Rabastan Lestrange? How odd that he would write to her. She couldn't help but smile at his last, though: please don't tell Colin. She was amused by both the fact that people thought her likely to tell people about every piece of information that came her way, and also the way they thought they could stop her if she did want to.
Ah, well. Someone being concerned about meeting with an ex-Deatheater was hardly worth repeating. And she liked Colin. If his brother was even half of what Colin was an employee... Well. He wanted work, didn't he?
She dipped her quill in the pot of green ink and replied.
Dear Mr Creevey ( ... )

Den,
Glad you managed to find a suitable place for yourself, of course I'll have to come by and check it out myself. Big brother duties and all that, you know.
Dinner would be nice, I'd love to hear what you've been up to since you left. I saw you flyers around town, had any business yet?
Should be a new edition of the Prophet coming out very soon. I'll make sure you get put on the subscription list so you can get a copy when it comes out.
Thanks for the bread and biscuits, s'good. I wasn't aware that you'd become quite the cook since I'd seen you last. May have to see what else you can whip up sometime.
I'll come by and see you soon, yeah?
Colin

You can come by anytime, you know that. Not much to the place, but it is nice. Dean did a good job. And I like being able to see the river.
Nothing to get excited about yet, but it's only been a day or so. And if you had ever come out of your darkroom, you'd have known that Mum taught me a bit bout how to be in a kitchen.
Not much else going on. I sent a letter to Professor Lupin about school, and I need to visit the bookstore, as I don't know if there is a library, or if it is open. Maybe tomorrow I'll explore the town a bit.
Dinner, yeah that'd be great. Maybe we should let Cormac pick the place?
Tell Liam, I haven't seen any Gnomes about yet, but if I do, I'll let him know.
