Bill limped into the conference room about fifteen minutes after he'd been summoned by Cedric, carrying an arm load of files containing bills of lading, histories, monographs, manifests, and drawings for over thirty artifacts he was interested in putting on display. He'd found the files in the archives and hadn't been able to drop off at his office yet so with a dull thud he dropped them on the table and sat, eyeing Cedric's computer a bit warily.

"D'you have that charmed so it can operate in a heavily magical environment?" he asked, grabbing a muffin and popping the top off to eat the base first and the top later.

Cedric eyed the files with amusement. "Neither of us needs to work out, we just need to carry files around," he said. "And as for the computer, so far it's not given me any trouble. I don't think Stoatshead is as bad as Diagon Alley, much less Hogwarts, but we'll see once more things are moved in here."

Eying the files with interest, he asked, "So what have you got in mind? Technically, I'm calling this a staff meeting, but that might be a bit grand for two people." He grinned. "Although I reckon we should have a meeting some evening, so Sanguini can come. Now that I'm working in the day, I see a lot less of him."

He chuckled at that. "It is a good work out that's for sure. And I would highly recommend getting your computer warded before we get the artifacts in here. I've seen some crazy crap happen to unwarded Muggle electronics as soon as they were within a few feet of the object. And with as many artifacts as we plan on having, well, either ward a certain area or ward the computer otherwise bye bye."

Glancing down at the stack of files in front of him. "Just some artifacts from a few tombs I helped excavate. It was more a trip down memory lane than anything, but I did want to see about a few artifacts that I thought might be interesting to put on display; a staff of Ra that is said to really be able to summon Ra of course noone's ever tried thankfully, an ankh that is said to have been stolen from Isis - which if it had then she obviously didn't miss it because she never returned to claim it, a few ushaptis containing the internal organs of Khafra, ancient Egypt's most powerful sorceror."

"Hmm." Cedric glanced at his computer. "Warding isn't my forte. I can do basic ones. You're better at them by far. Will a simple shielding ward do, or is something more complicated needed? And it might be wise to both ward the laptop and also ward this section of the building, as the offices have computers -- although those computers don't 'walk,' so to speak. We'll have electricity back here too -- well, when it comes back, we will. Although for the actual museum, I'd prefer to use Lumos balls. Better light than electric bulbs, I think. Especially for the art."

He listened as Bill described the artifacts, looking over his shoulder at the files and nodded -- or smiling, as at the comment about Isis' ankh. "Maybe she has a wealth of them. Or somebody pulled a fast one. Anyway, those sound good to me. I'm going to leave it to you to decide one the best arrangement for the floors. We don't have quite the space the old museum had, but eventually, we'll get that extra wing added, and at that point, we'll likely have more ( ... )
