Irma was on time - as always. Unlike her appearance last night, on her social outing with Caradoc, she had put her hair up. She was also wearing her own clothes.

She put one hand up, and knocked on Minerva's door.

If Willa had known when she picked out a house that Mona's leg was going to trouble her, she would have claimed one closer to everything, no matter how lovely the little place was. But they seemed to be managing, even if they apparated a distance they would never have, once upon a time, and even if Willa suspected the injury gave Pomona more trouble than she admitted.

When they appeared at the end of Minerva's path, it was to find Irma Pince just knocking on the door. Willa smiled. Old Hogwarts Witches Association, was it? Because Hogwarts was no longer, of course. She certainly wasn't old, and Irma was still a baby.

"Hello Irma," she greeted as she approached.

Irma turned around once she heard someone approaching her from behind. "Hello," she said with a smile. "How nice to see you again. Is everything alright?"

Unlike Horrace Slughorn's party, Pomona was quite looking forward to tea at Minerva's. It had been far too long since she had seen her old friend. She was disappointed when her leg had been aching something fierce when she'd woken that morning. If it hadn't been for that, she would have waved off Willa's suggestion to Apparate to Minerva's as silly. It had seemed quite silly to bother the hospital staff with a sore leg after the attack, but perhaps it was time that she made an appointment with a Healer. The planting season was no time for her leg to be giving her trouble.

Pomona smiled when she saw Irma Pince knocking on Minerva's door. It had truly been an age since she'd last seen the woman, though she hadn't chanced at all, apparently. "Good afternoon, Irma. You are looking quite well. Everything is splendid. How is that darling boy of yours?"

Arabella had been looking forward to Minerva's tea party ever since she received the owl earlier in the week. She'd been rather cooped up at her little cottage, trying to get things just as she wanted them. Cai was a great help, but sometimes the house elf became a bit much, which was just as Caradoc had warned. So Arabella was glad to have an excuse to let Cai have the day off today. She even gave the elf a new pale-green pinafore as a thank-you for her help so far; Cai accepted the dress with tears in her eyes, bowing and thanking "Mizzes" several times before she disappeared ( ... )

Minerva had just poured the last cup with a green flash and puff of ash, Arabella appeared in Minerva's fireplace, tumbling onto the rug. She put up a hand to stifle her grin. "Arabella, dear -- welcome! We were just pouring the tea. Please, come and have a seat."

Arabella got up, dusted herself off and turned to the assembled ladies. "Thank you, Minerva! Hello, Willa - and Pomona - and Irma! It's so lovely to see all of you." She went round and gave each woman a hug, stopping a bit longer as she hugged Minerva.

"Merlin, it's been forever since I've seen you," she said, frowning a bit at her friend's wheelchair. "How are you getting along, Minnie? And how's the new school?" Taking a seat she settled down. Traveling by Floo, she realised, was tiring in its own way.

"Welcome, dear. It has been too long. I'm doing as well as can be expected, confined to this blasted chair, but the Healers tell me not to argue.

"And the school is going well. Even better now that we have our Herbology teacher back." She winked in Pomona's direction.
