George looked up from the counter when he heard the little bell above the shop door ring. He had been alone in the shop except for Romilda who was in the back of the shop brewing potions, or storing potion ingredients. He wasn't really sure which. His mind had been a little scatter brained lately.

It took him a second to place the face but then he recognized Roger walking into the shop. "Hey Roger, do you need help with anything?" He was glad to see a customer, but part of him had been hoping that he would be left alone most of the day. He was still in a major funk after Katie had broke up with him and hadn't managed to quite shake it yet. Although it was becoming a little easier.

Roger looked toward the counter when he heard George's voice, heading over and smiling. He'd not seen the other man since Katie's birthday party, and hoped he was thinking of the right twin. "Hey, George. How've you been?"

He was on the point of tapping his hands lightly on the counter as he approached it, but caught himself just in time. "Yeah, I definitely need some help. I was wondering if you had anything for blisters?" He shrugged. "I've been putting off dealing with them for a while, and they're getting out of hand." He winced. Apparently he made terrible puns when he was in pain.

George forced up a smile when Roger asked how he was. Time to use the smiling shop keeper face and not tell the truth. "I've been alright." George told him, keeping it vague on purpose.

George nodded, "Yea actually we've got a paste for blisters." George stepped out from behind the corner and motioned Roger to follow him to the aisle where the paste was stocked.

He picked up a jar and handed it to Roger. "This should work fine for you. Put it on a couple times and a day and the blisters should heal up fine." He decided to be polite and not ask where the blisters were.

Roger noticed the other man's forced smile and vague answer, and wondered if he was alright, despite the other man's words. But he supposed he didn't know George well enough to ask him about it. "Er, the last time we spoke this place wasn't open yet. You and Fred must be relieved to have it off the ground," he said.

He was relieved they stocked paste for blisters. "That's brilliant; thank you," he said, taking the little jar from George. "I can't even do my work anymore. I've these blisters all over my hands. I shouldn't have waited so long to take care of them, I reckon." He smiled wryly and spread his hands.
