He offered her his arm again and began to walk down the street again towards the observatory. The vampire wasn't quite sure what to say, and felt angry at himself both for bringing up the subject and for avoiding her in the first place. There was a tension in his shoulders that he tried to will away, but his deep breathing was met with protest. Sanguini opened his mouth to speak, but nothing of merit came to his lips.
