Lavender nodded, blushing slightly, trying not to imagine what would have happened if Hermione or Harry had walked in on a kiss like that. Memories of what they had been like at Hogwarts resurfaced, making her feel a little uncomfortable.

"That's alright," she told him quietly. "I understand, so don't worry." Lavender gave a lop-sided smile. "I've got no desire for an unwanted audience." She reluctantly moved away from his comfortable embrace. "Yeah, let's go upstairs. I'd love to see the game room - lead the way!"

"A... a book on sex?" Lavender asked quizzically. She bit her lip, the idea strangely intriguing but she was not altogether sure what to make of that. Had Ron been learning... things out of a book? Back in school, Ron had never struck her as particularly keen on learning things out of books.

"I don't mind," she said, hand stroking slowly down hip. "It's completely up to you." A blush covered her cheeks, both from the kiss and the idea of the book. "Sounds kind of interesting, though."

There was no way Ron could say, Yes, Hermione gave me a book about sex. Well, he couldn't say Hermione but it might be okay to confirm it.

"Yeah, a book on sex," he admitted. "I..." This was harder than he thought. "I didn't have a lot of experience before we got together. The book has been...helpful." He also hadn't had another bloke to talk to about this, what with Harry hiding in his room for days at a time and also being as inexperienced as Ron. "There's a lot of stuff in there that kind of made me eyes pop out, but some of it could be fun to try. But it's up to you. I don't want you to do anything you don't enjoy."
