Arriving home from work, Lavender's priority had been food. Well, actually, clothes and then food. Or even clothes, then shoes and then food. Not having been to Xanadu, Lavender wasn't entirely sure what to wear, although she eventually decided on a black dress and a pair of high heels in the same green that matched her earrings.
She'd munched on a sandwich as she had made her choices, and was just finishing her make-up as it turned eight o'clock. Realising that Ron would be there soon, Lavender studied her reflection, hoping that she looked good enough and that Ron would like it.
