After her episode with Auror McLaggen, Irma decided that it was time for lunch. Instead of sitting at her desk, eating the lunch she’d brought with her from home, as would be the sensible thing to do, she’d come to the conclusion that she deserved a reward for not hexing McLaggen’s special parts off when he’d not returned her files.
Therefore, she was going back to the interesting place where she’d had tea with Rita. She’d remembered to bring some hosiery as a precaution for these situations, much in the same way she also usually brought along some chocolate, just in case anyone was exhibiting shocking behaviour. Always prepared, Irma decided, would be her new motto.
Arriving at Socks - what a quaint name - she found herself looking at a girl that looked somewhat familiar.
She frowned, as she approached her table. Irma normally wouldn’t recognize many of the pupils from Hogwarts - really, they were all just as bad when it came to treating her library and her books with the respect they deserved - but the conversations she’d had with Minerva and Rita in the past week, had led her to dig in her memories. If Irma’s memory hadn’t gone completely off the bend, the young woman would be… “Miss Granger?” she inquired politely.
